Rest

Oh reckless soul, who walks away
From grace so freely given,
So quick to strive for heav'nly favor,
So slow to rest in Him.

Can you fulfill the righteous calling
Of a God so high above?
Can you, by striving, bear an image
Of the God of endless love?

By faith alone you will truly live,
His glory to manifest.
Clothed in Christ, unveil your face,
And find yourself at rest.
