a simple plea

I wish I could help you understand,
To open your eyes to see Truth,
To make sense of life and set you free.
Why must you ignore the only One
Who loves you with love unfailing?
My heart breaks for you, my friend.
In God is found the only context
That makes life cease to be absurd.
You can understand. You can find rest.
When you know Him, You can be free.
Please, please--won't you see?
