Heartcry

Oh God, who by Your grace sustains
My tired, broken soul,
Who offers a strong arm to guide
And claims to make me whole:
May the light of Thy bright face
Shine in the darkness here,
Remind me of Your faithfulness;
Declare that You are near.
Cultivate serenity
Within my heart, I pray;
Reveal to me Your perfect peace;
Drive restless thoughts away.
Oh God, I stay my mind on You
Though storms rage far and wide,
Grant me strength to trust You fully
And in Your love, abide.
